Jordan Staal may have turned down a reported 10-year deal from the Pittsburgh Penguins, but it didn't stop his teammates from turning up in droves in Thunder Bay on Thursday.

The most famous of them all, Cole Harbour, N.S.'s Sidney Crosby, was spotted at the Thunder Bay International Airport, apparently taking time to pose for pictures with adoring fans, including this lucky airport employee, whose photo is making the rounds on Twitter.

Crosby and company are in Thunder Bay for Staal's wedding, scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Staal has one year left on his Penguins contract and can become an unrestricted free agent after next season, Rumours are running rampant the Penguins are now looking into possible trades for their third-string centre, who must play behind Crosby and Eveni Malkin.

Penguins teammates James Neal, Marc-Andre Fleury and former NHLer Gary Roberts are also among the guests believed to be in town for the afternoon ceremony.

If you have pictures of Sidney Crosby while he's in town, send them to us and we'll publish the best of them. Send them to ldunick@dougallmedia.com.
