Back-to-back rounds of two-over 73s has Thunder Bay golfer Jeff Hunter tied for 23rd spot at the halfway mark of the Ontario Amateur Championship. '

Hunter trails Beacon Hill Golf Course standout Albin Choi, who followed Tuesday's 67 with a two-under 69, giving him a one-shot lead over Dundas Valley's MacKenzie Hughes.

Thunder Bay's Evan Littlefield fired a three-over 74 Wednesday on Day 2 of the tournament and sits tied for 70th spot at the event being staged this week at the Summit Golf and Country Club. Littlefield has a two-day 151 total, putting him directly on the cut-line.

Fellow Lakehead golfer Ed Atwill is well out of contention after shooting a 21-over 92 for a tournament total of 171.
