Carolyn Fragale’s 32 points looked great on the score sheet.
Unfortunately for the Lakehead Thunderwolves, she didn’t get much help on Friday night in London. Ayse Kalkan chipped in 15, but it wasn’t enough as the Wolves fell 80-68 to the third-place Western Mustangs.
With the loss Lakehead fell to 5-7, tied for fifth in the OUA West, two points ahead of seventh-place Guelph who are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.
Jenny Vaughan had 21 to lead the Mustangs (7-5).
The two teams tip-off again on Saturday night.
