Luke Judson is a bull again.

The former captain of the OHL’s Belleville Bulls is leaving the Lakehead Thunderwolves after one season, signing a contract with the East Coast Hockey League’s San Francisco Bulls.

The Bulls, which had its inaugural season in 2012, are an affiliate of the San Jose Sharks.

Judson thanked the Lakehead organization in a release sent Monday afternoon.

“I’ve turned down pro opportunities in the past, because I know the importance of education, but San Francisco is a perfect fit and a great opportunity for me to contribute to their team immediately,” Judson said in the release.

“I’m looking forward to the next step in my life, and I wish the Wolves the best of luck in the future.”

The Emo, Ont. forward played 28 games for the Thunderwolves last season with 15 goals and 12 assists.
