The Falcons took an early 6-0 lead over the Lorne Park Spartans, but surrendered three straight touchdowns in the second and third quarter to quickly fall out of contention and fell 37-25 in Hamilton on Friday.

Jake Puskas led the way for the Falcons, scoring on a 65-yard kickoff return in the fourth and scampering home from 11 yards out to close the gap to 12 with time running out.

Puskas finished with 102 yards on the ground.

Lorne Park quarterback Alex Lavric three three touchdown scores, including a 69-yarder to Cole Jamieson, to lead the way for the Spartans.
