Harvey named an OUA second-team, Doornick to all-rookie squad

Dwayne Harvey is leaving on a high note. The fifth-year guard on Thursday was named to the OUA men’s basketball second all-star team in his final year of eligibility. Harvey averaged 12.4 points a game for the Wolves while hauling 6.

The fifth-year guard on Thursday was named to the OUA men’s basketball second all-star team in his final year of eligibility.

Harvey averaged 12.4 points a game for the Wolves while hauling 6.8 rebounds, placing him in the top 15 in the category.

The Hamilton native wasn’t the only Thunderwolves player honoured.

Freshman guard Ryan Doornick found a place on the OUA all-rookie team. He averaged 4.5 points a game, including 16 three-pointers for the Wolves, who finished the regular season at 11-8 and lost out in the second round of the playoffs.
