After a strong start, the Thunder Bay Border Cats have started  a second-half slide.

The visiting Cats dropped a 3-2 decision on Sunday to the Rochester Honkers, giving up all three runs in the seventh inning, a half-an-inning after they broke open a scoreless tie and took a 2-0 lead.

It was Thunder Bay’s third straight defeat.

Joe Gellenbeck drove in both Border Cats runs with this seventh double of the campaign.

Matt Fiedler cleared the bases in the bottom of the seventh inning, his double scoring three teammates.

Reliever Greg Wiessert took the loss as the Cats slipped to 2-3. Tyler Feyereisen earned the victory.
