Tyler Green homered and Dan Rizzie and Mikael Mogues hit run-scoring doubles in the 10th inning Saturday night to lead the Thunder Bay Border Cats to their third straight triumph.

The four-run extra inning gave the Cats a 10-6 road win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

All-star Jared James had three hits in six trips to the plate and drove in three. He’s now hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games and leads the league in hitting.

The Cats jumped out in front 3-0 in the second and regained the lead in the sixth with another three runs that put them up 6-4. Wisconsin tied it in the fifth with a pair of runs.

Jimmy Murphy went 7.1 innings in relief of starter Yuji Suzuki to earn the win. Reliever Chance Simpson was tagged for all four Border Cats runs in the 10th to take the loss.
