Chill snubbed as PDL names all-conference teams

Despite a second-place finish in the Heartland Division and an eighth playoff appearance in nine seasons, the Thunder Bay Chill were snubbed on Monday when the Premier Development League named its all-conference teams.

Despite a second-place finish in the Heartland Division and an eighth playoff appearance in nine seasons, the Thunder Bay Chill were snubbed on Monday when the Premier Development League named its all-conference teams.

Not one Chill player made the grade In fact, just three players from the Heartland Division made the 11-man squad, goalkeeper Yuta Nomura of the Springfield Synergy and midfielders Jacob Cawsey of the St. Louis Lions and Moses Danto of WSA Winnipeg.

A trio of Michigan Bucks, the PDL regular-season champions, and three from K-W United FC, who will represent the conference at the PDL championship weekend in Seattle, were chosen.
