ST. CATHARINES -- Another second-quarter collapse helped pave the way for the Lakehead Thunderwolves second straight loss at the hands of the Brock Badgers.
The Badgers outscored the visiting Wolves 20-8 in the second and went on to a 72-50 win against their division rival in the final OUA women’s basketball game for both teams before the Christmas break.
Kira Cornelissen led the way for Brock, scoring 16 points and eight rebounds. Kate Harpur and Kayla Santilli had a dozen apiece for the victors.
