The second-leading scorer in OUA men’s basketball torched the Wolves for 36 points on Saturday night, leading the Queen’s Golden Gaels to an 80-72 home-court win.

Singh, a fourth-year senior, had 22 points at the half, matching his season average heading into the contest.

Bacarius Dinkins, after a slow start, continued his torrid pace for Lakehead, netting 25 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double, his fourth in five outings.

Henry Tan also had a big night, collecting 19 points and seven assists for the Wolves, who fell to 7-6. Ryall Stroud finished with 13 for Queen’s (9-5), who are second in the OUA East behind national No. 1 Ryerson, winners of nine in a row and due in Thunder Bay in two weeks.

Three of Lakehead’s six losses this season have come against the top four teams in the country – two to Brock and one each to Ottawa and Carleton.
