Brandon McClary hit a bases-loaded single that scored the only two runs of the contest with one out in the pivotal frame, leading the host Duluth Huskies to a 2-0 win over Thunder Bay.

The Cats fell to 4-25, but still managed a split on Northwoods League doubleheader day.

Langan (L, 0-5) gave up six hits and two walks, leaving with one out in the seventh.

Payton Robinson (W, 3-1) was a stingy starter for the Huskies, giving up just two hits in seven shutout innings.

The Border Cats return home Thursday night for a date with the Willmar Stingers.
