Media Release – August 26, 2016: Thunderwolves hockey training camp opens August 29
The Lakehead University Thunderwolves hockey team will begin training camp on August 29 at the Port Arthur Arena to jump start the Wolves’ 2016-17 campaign.
20 players are returning from last year’s squad and four new commitments have already been announced, but there is still an opportunity for walk-ons to impress during camp and make the team.
Regardless, Lakehead will be a much more experienced club than it was last season.
The team will scrimmage from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily for the first week with the exception of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
All sessions will be open to the general public.
