Queens earn tie to end disappointing weekend

By Leith Dunick, tbnewswatch.com

The Sportop Midget AA Queens did not enjoy much success at a weekend hockey tournament in Blaine, Minn.

But they did manage to salvage a point in their finale on Sunday, earning a 3-3 tie against the Little Caesar’s U19 squad.

Bronwyn Bolduc had a pair for the Queen’s, who dropped their first three games at the tourmament. The Queens will host Winnipeg’s St. Mary's Academy from Winnipeg in Thunder Bay on Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at Fort William Gardens and Nov. 4 at Fort William First Nation Arena at 9:30 a.m.
