It got a little chippy at the end, but the Thunder Bay North Stars got the result they were looking for.

Alex Vaillent scored the winner 2:31 into the third period, leading the Stars to a 4-2 win over the visiting Wisconsin Wilderness, losers of 31 straight.

Daniel Delpaggio, Ryan Walsh and Zach Grzelewski also tallied for Thunder Bay (21-6-4).

Alex Rezansoff and Zach Kraft replied for the woeful Wilderness (1-32-0).
