Carter Hutton is heading back to Nashville.

The Thunder Bay goaltender on Monday inked a two-year, $1.45 M-deal to return to the Predators, where he’s again expected to serve in a back-up role to Pekka RInne.

The 28-year-old, thrust into a starting role for much of last season when Rinne went down with an injury, became just the sixth 20-game winner in franchise history, posting a 20-11-4 record, a 2.62 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.

Hutton went 13-4-2 in his final 19 decisions, recording his first career NHL shutout near the end of his first full NHL campaign.

He’ll make $700,000 in 2014-15 and $750,000 in 2015-15

Nice picture you chose. You didn't notice the puck in the net? Was it that hard to find a picture of him making a save or just laziness?

Actually, we only have the one shot of him playing with Nashville. We can't just steal stuff off the web, it's copyright infringement. Our wire service provides us with minimal photography under the license we have. We don't have access to most CP photos. The only other shot I have of him playing is with Chicago.

Leith, stop it now!

You know it is far easier for the usual clientele of this website to point to a conspiracy theory, laziness, or something else just as asinine.

All of this logic and citing of laws won't fly with this crowd!

Leith, despite a well typed out explanation, I am just going to have to say you're lazy too!!!!1111oneoneone

Yeah for Thunder Bay. Lousy picture though. MSNBC Sports had a better one.

Could of at least cut out the right half of the picture, including the puck in the net- and it would have looked like he was making a save.
