Alouettes hire former Bombers coach as defensive co-ordinator

MONTREAL - Jeff Reinebold is returning to the CFL.
The Montreal Alouettes have hired former the former Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach as their defensive co-ordinator.
Reinebold replaces Tim Tibesar, who left Marc Trestman's staff to take a job at Purdue University.
The 54-year-old Reinebold was working as a receivers coach at Southern Methodist University.
He had a 6-26 record as head coach in Winnipeg in 1997 and 1998. He had previously been a CFL assistant coach with the B.C. Lions, Las Vegas Posse and Edmonton Eskimos.
Reinebold began treatments on a type of skin cancer in February, 2010.
