Tbnewswatch.com is looking for freelance writers with exceptional writing and photography skills to help grow local coverage and enhance areas of content that were under served in the past.
For 50 weeks, the content writer will be required to write one feature article per week on a specific community topic, such as local sports, arts and entertainment, the environment, human interest stories and follow-up coverage. Articles will be about 500 words.
These feature articles will help keep Tbnewswatch.com at the forefront of reporting while continuing to develop new features for our readers.
Need to have strong writing, proofreading, and self-editing skills.
Need to conduct extensive research on the topic.
Need to be creative, think outside of the box and make unique interesting stories that will engage an audience.
Need to create content that is original.
A diploma or degree in print journalism, broadcasting or a related field
At least 1 year experience in journalism
An ability to meet tight deadlines.
This is not a full-time position, but a freelance position that will be paid on per story.
