The Dougall Media Street Team is the best form of advertising for the radio stations. The Street Team is a reliable group of individuals who have specific interests in promotions, strong people skills and who would gladly approach strangers to strike up a conversation. The ideal Street Team Member is outgoing, enjoys a fun working environment, loves talking to people and can work in a team. Street Team Members can be called upon to represent Rock 94, 91.5 CKPR and Energy 103 104 at different events around town.
The most important characteristic of our Street Team is trust and integrity. When you are working for us, you are a representative of Dougall Media to any guest we engage with, and we expect you to conduct yourselves with the same standards that any of our staff members are held to.
This is a part-time position where Street Team Members will work as station Brand Ambassadors, representing the company professionally with positive attitudes and providing support to any and all station-related events (clients, community, special events, etc.). The Street Team will follow instructions, set-up event equipment, assist the Radio Personality onsite, engage with event attendees, facilitate a fun and exciting experience, answer any questions listeners may have and promote whatever is required by the station with direction from the Street Team Coordinator.
Must have a G license and reliable vehicle to get to events
People oriented, friendly, respectful, and responsible individual with common sense, ability to adjust to different environment and situations, be proactive and helpful
Must be able to lift/carry/set-up minimum 50lb equipment on your own Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends/evenings/holidays

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent, and execute station appearances on the street, at events, concerts, festivals, client locations etc.
Comply with the uniform and personal hygiene standards
Arrive on time and ready to work with a positive attitude
Set up and break down of station event equipment, i.e. tables, booths, banners, etc.
Follow directions and supervision of Promotions Coordinator and Street Team Coordinator
Communicate effectively with listeners, potential clients, sponsors, anyone who approaches you with inquiries.
Understand the mission of every event and execute with professionalism
Reach out to and engage with listeners and create a memorable experience and a positive image of the station you are representing. Be approachable and comfortable talking to strangers
Promote the station and brand with a big smile! Be outgoing, enthusiastic and have fun!
In unique situations be willing to wear the stations’ mascots
