TORONTO – Aroland First Nation’s Brendan Bouchard needed a second set of eyes when he realized he might have won big on the Instant Cash Club game.
The 32-year-old father of one didn’t have far to turn to confirm the $250,000 prize.
“I also bought a ticket for my mom – she played first and won $60,” he smiled, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque.
“Then I played my ticket and saw that I had won $250,000. I had to ask her to double check.”
He plans to share his winnings with his family.
“My sister passed away last year. She used to buy me instant tickets every once in a while. I feel her close to us right now, and am so grateful for this win,” he shared.
The winning ticket was purchased at O’Sullivan Lake Gas Bar on Highway 643 in Aroland.
