Cats add three pitchers to roster

Three right-handers add to pitching complement.

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Border Cats have added a trio of pitchers as they round out their roster.

Right-handers Josh Leaser, Austin Eggleston and Joe Moran are expected to join the team when the 2019 Northwoods League season starts on May 28.

Leaser, in his junior season at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Col., appeared in 17 games last season, sporting a 1-2 record and a 5.79 earned run average.

Eggleston, who calls Arlington, Texas home, is a junior at Friends University in Wichita, Kan. And is 2-3 with a 5.22 ERA in seven appearances this season.

Moran, a junior at his hometown Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., has allowed just one hit and struck out eight in five innings of work this season.
