Cook, Nolan named to Northwoods League all-star game

THUNDER BAY – Billy Cook and Alexander Nolan will represent the Thunder Bay Border Cats at the upcoming Northwoods League all-star game.

Cook tops the Cats with a .318 batting average, with 54 hits in 170 at bats.

The Monument, Col. native has 15 doubles, second in the league, three triples and two home runs,, driving in 23 while walking 19 times for a .394 on-base percentage.

Nolan is 4-1 with a 2.36 earned run average in six starts, striking out 21 in 38 innings.

The game is scheduled for July 24 at Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, Mich.
