THUNDER BAY – The scheduled game between the Thunder Bay North Stars and Fort Frances Lakers on Friday night has been postponed because of an impending winter storm.

The Superior International Junior Hockey League said a heavy snowfall warning that could bring up to 25 centimetres of snow to the region, combined with high winds and poor visibility, was the reason for the decision.

A make-up date for the game at Ice For Kids Arena in Fort Frances will be finalized at a later date.
