THUNDER BAY – The Lakehead Thunderwolves have added some forward depth.

The OUA team on Wednesday announced the signing of left-winger Tucker Scantlebury, who has spent the past four seasons playing Tier 2 hockey across western Canada.

The 20-year-old Foxwarren, Man., native is coming off a 14-goal, 22-assist campaign split between the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Lloydminster Bobcats and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Swan Valley Stampeders.

He also added 14 points in 17 playoff games with Swan Valley.

“I’ve heard nothing but good things about the community and city of Thunder Bay,” Scantlebury said in a release.

“Having the opportunity to further my education as a student athlete is something I’m very grateful for.”
