Fort Frances man faces drug trafficking charges

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Fort Frances man with numerous offences.

FORT FRANCES, Ont. – A 43-year-old Fort Frances man is facing drug trafficking charges following a single vehicle collision.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to reports of a single vehicle collision on Eighth Street shortly after 1 p.m. on June 21.

The community street crime unit commenced an investigation and as a result, one man is facing numerous criminal charges.

The 43-year-old was charged with carrying a concealed waeapon, failure to comply with prohibition order, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He is scheduled to appear in court July 30.
