Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at a heavy equipment dealership. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and technicians requiring parts for construction, forestry, and mining equipment. Your main responsibilities will include identifying and sourcing parts, processing orders, and providing expert advice to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and experience in parts or service within a dealership or industrial setting. Duties

Assist customers and technicians with identifying and sourcing the right parts
Create and process parts orders, quotes, and invoices accurately
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal service teams
Provide timely updates on order status, pricing, and availability
Contribute to a clean, efficient, and organized parts department
Stay informed about market trends and new products to better assist customers
Requirements

Experience in a parts or service-related role (heavy equipment or automotive preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical components and equipment terminology
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software
