Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator and Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves working directly with contractors, builders, and homeowners to provide accurate material estimates and promote our product offerings.  Special ordering products, managing and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or building materials, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of lumber and building products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely material take-offs and estimates from blueprints, drawings, and project specs
• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with product selection and order processing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and customers
• Generate sales by recommending appropriate materials and solutions
• Collaborate with yard staff to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and pricing
• Track and follow up on quotes and open orders

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of building materials, especially lumber, roofing, siding, and hardware
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
