Spark imagination. Build confidence. Take the stage.

We’re Carly & Evan—the husband-and-wife team behind a brand-new creative studio in Collingwood offering dance, art, and music classes for kids and adults. We’re building a space where creativity is celebrated, confidence is nurtured, and community comes first. We’re now looking for a dynamic Drama Teacher to join our founding team.

🧡 What We’re Building:
This studio is a love letter to creativity—born from our desire to create a welcoming, inspiring space for our four daughters and the community around them. With Carly’s 15+ years running a successful dance studio and Evan’s experience in startups and design, we’re creating something vibrant and fresh for Collingwood.

🎤 What You’ll Do:
Lead weekly drama or musical theatre classes for kids and/or teens (1–2 classes/week to start)

Create lesson plans that build confidence, voice, movement, and storytelling skills

Introduce drama games, improvisation, and light performance work

Support students in preparing for studio showcases or performances

Help create a warm, encouraging environment where students can take creative risks

🧑‍🏫 You Might Be a Fit If:
You have experience teaching drama, theatre, or performance to children or teens

You love helping kids grow in confidence and expression

You’re high-energy, imaginative, and great at reading the room

You’re excited to be part of a small, intentional studio with a big heart

Bonus if you also have musical theatre or vocal coaching experience!

💵 Details:
Part-time contract (~1–4 hours/week to start)

Paid at $40–$60/hour, based on experience

Classes held Wednesdays (exact timing TBD)

Studio opens Summer 2025 in Collingwood
