We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Social Media Manager with a passion for sports, entertainment and pop culture, someone who has knowledge of and experience with sports betting, and will work closely with the Director, Paid Media, Social Media & Planning and the Social Media and Paid Media team as a shared services partner to our stakeholders, partners and agencies. They will be a social media subject matter expert who strategizes, advises and executes paid and organic campaigns initiatives to support on Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube and other social platforms. They will also collaborate with the social media customer service team to answer customer questions, will keep their eyes and ears on social media through social listening and will work alongside our social media agency to support community management.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director, Paid Media Effectiveness, Social & Planning, you will be empowered to:
This job requires some on the ground attendance at various events, both after hours and on weekends, with some travel within Ontario required. Job also requires after hours monitoring of social media in collaboration with our customer service team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years related progressive experience developing social media marketing plans, strategy and execution for consumer-facing brands (paid and organic), and managing community management programs, as well as social media listening and reporting.
- Experience leading or inputting to the social media creative process from brief to execution with internal and external partners
- Experience developing support processes for complex organizations
- Experience working in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment
- Experience in budget and vendor management
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in social media marketing, digital marketing, or communications
