We are seeking valuable instructors for the Early Childhood Education Anishinaabemowin (ECEA) and the Renovation Techniques: Construction Carpentry programs.
RENOVATION TECHNIQUES: CONSTRUCTION CARPENTRY INSTRUCTORS
Hourly Rate: $90.00
Program Description: The construction industry is booming, and now is the time to get the skills you need to work in this diverse field. From foundation to framing, each student will develop practical construction skills through hands-on activities while practicing safe working procedures.
Program Courses: CAR015- Site Layout & Foundations – Theory, CAR016- Site Layout & Foundations – Lab, and CAR075- Blueprint Reading 1.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION ANISHINAABEMOWIN (ECEA) INSTRUCTORS
Hourly Rate: $90.00
Program Description: The Early Childhood Education Anishinaabemowin (ECEA) Program is a highly specialized Anishinaabe immersion program designed to train individuals who aspire to work in early childhood Anishinaabemowin Immersion settings.
Program Courses: Introduction to ECE, Totality of Wellness, Child Development – Infant, Introduction of Curriculum Planning (Infant & Toddler), Guidance & Self-Regulation, College Communications, Personal Success Strategies, Identity – Psychology, Curriculum Planning 2: Preschool, Looking Out for the Child, Infant Care, Personal and Family Communications, Field Placement – I, II, & III, The Creative Environment, Curriculum Planning 3: Kindergarten, Accepting One Another in a Good Way, Workplace & Community Communication, Holistic Models in ECE, The Whole Child, Child Advocacy, and Environmental Citizenship.
Anishinaabe-aadiziwin (worldview) and cultural perspective are at the heart of all our programs.
Instructors of various education and training are also invited to apply for courses congruent with their field of expertise.
Instructors should have a knowledge and understanding of teaching in an online/remote environment using multiple online resources.
