The Hope in Every Step Walk is more than an event. It’s a movement that brings our community together to raise awareness, take a stand against gender-based violence, and fund vital programs and services. This year, on
November 1, 2025, we’ll gather at Spencer Smith Park to walk in solidarity.
Right now, we’re looking for passionate leaders to join our Hope in Every Step Walk Committee. As a committee member, you’ll:
Meet virtually six times between July and October to plan this impactful event.
Mobilize teams and individuals to walk in solidarity.
Secure sponsorships and prizes that fuel our mission.
Lend your skills on event day for set-up, run-through, and tear-down.
By stepping into this role, you’ll gain leadership experience, connect with passionate advocates, and make a tangible difference in the lives of women and children right here in Burlington.
