Theatre Burlington is looking for a young person (aged 16-25) for the role of Pinocchio in our
annual family show.
This one hour production follows a band of actors bringing the story of Pinocchio to life at an
Italian carnival. It includes music, dancing, corny jokes and lots of audience participation.
You must have lots of energy, be comfortable interacting with children, and performing in front
of a loud and often-times boisterous audience. The ability to “carry a tune” would be a benefit
and some simple choreography may also be involved.
Rehearsals will start in late September, early October and will be two nights a week (likely
Tuesday and Thursday) and Sunday afternoons. The show dates are November 29, 30,
December 6, 13, and 14, with two shows per day. Anyone under the age of 18, must be
accompanied by an adult at all rehearsals and show dates.
