Great news! This week marks the highest appointment volume for this time in the past 6 years. With 3,144 appointments in just the first week of June, we’re on pace to see an 11–13% increase over June 2024, if the trend continues.
📍 What’s Happening Locally:
Burlington:
Active listings are up while sales have dipped slightly, resulting in just over 4 months of inventory. With an absorption rate of 36%, Burlington remains a strong buyer’s market. There are great deals available, along with more room for conditions and negotiation.
Hamilton:
Both active listings and sales are up week-over-week. The market is sitting at about 4.5 months of supply, with a 37% absorption rate, indicating a buyer’s market as well. Notably, 37% of homes are selling within the first 30 days.
Oakville:
Active listings and sales have risen slightly, keeping the market relatively steady with around 3.5 months of supply. The absorption rate remains under 40%, also pointing to ongoing buyer’s market conditions.
