We are looking for a professional to cover a leave of absence, undertaking a variety of administrative and program management tasks. You will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. To be an excellent program coordinator, you must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams. You will also be expected to help facilitate our Social Skills Program, with the ability to travel within York Region and Simcoe County. If you have further skills in program development and community outreach, we’d like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for the development, implementation of social skills program for children and youth including camps
· Management of intakes and clients inquiries
· Supervises reaching program targets and service expectations, regularly monitors programs evaluations and provides statistical analysis and reports on programs, services, and regular operational activities.

· Creates a recruitment plan for facilitators and training
· Supports with training of facilitators and support the resources needs for the program delivery
· Facilitate when needed, requiring travel to Simcoe County
· Schedule programs dates, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program and set priorities to manage the programs
· Act as liaison with community partners within York Region and Simcoe
· Mentoring student placements throughout the school year
· Assist with community outreach events, fundraising and public speaking
· Assists with survey development and gathering program feedback
· Create a plan to increase program enrolment
· Reconsolidates registration and creates budgets
· Creates Program Location Profiles and tracks data
· Corresponds with parents and community partners on program event details
· Seeking new opportunities for program growth
· Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
· Post-secondary education is required, i.e. SW, SSW, Child and Youth Development, or relevant field of study.
· Experience working with educators and students
· Proven working experience in planning or coordinating programs in a non-for-profit setting 2-years minimum
· Experience and understanding of working effectively in a diverse environment
· Sound judgement and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively administer/reinforce policies as appropriate
· Prior experience with technologies used for Learning and Outreach including, but not limited to,
digital audio/video editing, web-based applications, Zoom, Skype, etc.

· Access to vehicle with a insurance liability of $1,000,000.000
· Criminal record and vulnerable sector check
· The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required
· Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: fast-paced environment
