Blue
My name is Blue and I am a very sweet and loving American Bulldog. I am just over a year old and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I love to cuddle and get nice and snuggly under the covers.
I’m a little nervous when meeting new dogs and other animals when I first meet them. Not only that, but I am much better with female dogs than male dogs. If another dog is reactive towards me, I will respond in kind.
I am looking for an experienced owner who can continue to guide my training in order for me to be the best addition to any family. I’m great with kids but do get really excited when playing. Therefore, a home with children over the age of 12 would be best.
I’m learning to be patient and not get too excited when someone comes over to the house.
I like to protect my food around other dogs, so I need to eat my meals alone.
I used to live in a house with another male dog and we fought. During one of those fights, my leg was broken. It is still healing and due to the nature of the break and the delayed time in seeing the veterinarian, it has fused together a bit off. It doesn’t stop me from doing anything, but I would like my future family to know everything about me. Purge
As you can see from my pictures, I am a handsome boy. I am a two-year-old pitty cross.
I am shy, and a bit anxious whenever I meet anyone new. We are working on introducing me to people and new things as the whole world is novel. I have a sweet disposition.
I have been around kittens, dogs and even one very reactive dog. I don’t react to any of them but I am trying to learn to play with other dogs if they are around and are nice. I do prefer to be around my person and I will pick you. I love playing ball and bring it back most of the time. I don’t really like snow and hate being cold so for now, I don’t like to be outside for very long. Maybe I will like it better in the summer.
Despite my size I am a lapdog and love cuddling. I am still working on my manners. When I am excited I jump even though I have been taught not to. I also need more time with learning to leash walk safely.
He was recently neutered at the vet and it was determined that his skin is quite sensitive. It should be noted that Purge is on a lamb based food due to allergies. A raw diet might be best for him.
