(Paws for Love Dog Rescue)
Hi, my name is Denali.
I am a 1-year-old Husky/Malamute cross weighing around 65 pounds. I am up to date on my vaccines and have been dewormed, microchipped and I will be neutered soon.
I know my basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down and come here, but I need someone to continue with my recall training.
I live with two cats and I do like to chase them, but I am learning to leave them alone.
I need a home that understands me and has experience with Husky and Malamute dogs, because I have many traits from each breed in me.
I need a home that understands that I am more than just a pretty face and I still need to learn a few manners because I am still a puppy with a lot of energy.
I get excited, which causes me to jump with joy, but I am working on it and I'm getting much better. I just have a lot of love to give. I am a very hyperactive dog and I love to play.
I would love daily exercise and daily grooming. I love my toy rope and my bones. A very active home would be best suited for me because I love to be outside and exploring.
I absolutely love swimming and getting very muddy. I am working on my off-leash training and so far it is going OK.
I explore up the mountains and I have endless energy. I am completely house trained and I'm also kennel trained, but sometimes I get a bit sad when my humans leave.
I'm a very loving boy. All I want to do is cuddle up to you and give you kisses for endless hours.
