Fans of the Blue Jays are excited by the off-season acquisitions as they compete in the tough American League East. Last year saw the demise of the Boston Red Sox, and this season will likely see the injury-riddled New York Yankees befall a similar fate.
The thrills provided by first-year MLB stars such as Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and Yu Darvish will be continued as more new players enter the league and get set to make their mark.
At the same time, the NHL season heads into the home-stretch. It’s an exciting race, which serves as a tantalizing prelude to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
