So it has happened; another NHL work stoppage.
The lockout began over this past weekend as the league and the players couldn't come to terms on a new working agreement.
Most expect this situation will drag on, and likely result in some impact to the regular season. But I don't think it will get to the disastrous point that it did in 2004 when the entire season had to be scrubbed.
Until there is a meeting of the minds between those who have the money, and those who make more money than most, hockey fans will have to find other outlets
In Thunder Bay, that could lead to more attendance at Lakehead University, and Superior Junior League hockey games. It could also mean even more interest paid this time of year to the NFL and the Major League Baseball post-season.
But, we will endure, and get through this again.
