Two fast teams fighting for Stanley Cup

A battle between two teams that have never met before in the final, the Los Angeles Kings and the New York Rangers.

One thing is certain, the famous silverware will be making another summer-time trip to Northwestern Ontario. But whether it will be in Thunder Bay with the Rangers Marc Staal or in Kenora with the Kings Mike Richards is to be determined.

The Kings have won three straight Game 7 showdowns on the road, and this time they have home-ice advantage.

The Rangers have looked very strong in knocking out Montreal, and the Pennsylvania teams.  It's a battle of two of the best goaltenders, Henrik Lundqvist and Jonathan Quick.

Both teams play fast games. Some of those games between Los Angeles and Chicago may have been the most exciting in recent years.

I like the Rangers being led by Martin St. Louis, and also the depth of their forward lines.

But, I think the Kings are the best team this spring, and they knocked off the defending champions in a battle for the ages.

Los Angeles will win the cup, in six games.
