Active case count drops to six

Case count is the lowest it's been since there was a single active case on Nov. 6.

THUNDER BAY -- The District of Thunder Bay has just six active confirmed COVID-19 cases. 

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Tuesday announced there were no new cases detected on Monday, and with three more resolved, the city and region are down to their lowest case count since there was one known active case on Nov. 1. 

There have been 3,337 cases since the pandemic began, with 3,267 of them considered to be resolved. There have been 64 deaths associated with COVID-19.
