THUNDER BAY -- A COVID-19 case has been detected at Hammarskjold High School.
Lakehead Public Schools say they have been informed by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit about the case, and the two organizations, along with school officials, are working to minimize the danger.
Parents and guardians of students in the affected cohort will be notified and those considered close contacts, whether high- or low-risk, will be contacted by a public health official.
A case was also announced at the Clarkson Street school on Dec. 6.
