COVID case found at St. Ignatius

Parents and guardians of students in the affected cohorts, classroom and bus, have been notified of the situation and will be followed up with by public health officials.

THUNDER BAY -- COVID-19 cases continue to spread through the Thunder Bay school system.

St. Ignatius High School is the latest to be hit with a case, announced on Friday by the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, as advised by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

The board, in a release, says parents and guardians of students in the affected cohorts have been contacted and will be followed up with by a public health nurse.

The situation also impacts a bus cohort, and students have been notified of the situation.

Cleaning is being conducted at the school.
