COVID detected at Elsie MacGill Public School

Health Unit, school working to track down any potential close contacts.

THUNDER BAY -- A single case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed at Ecole Elsie MacGill Public School.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit, in a letter to the school community, said they are working with the school and Lakehead Public Schools to identify any close contacts and manage any potential exposures to the virus.

There are currently 20 cases associated with St. Martin School and a single case associated with St. Ann School. There are 38 active COVID-19 cases in the District of Thunder Bay.
