Eight straight days of no COVID-19 cases

THUNDER BAY -- For the eighth straight day, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting zero new confirmed COVID-19 cases. 

It's the longest stretch since Oct. 10 to Oct. 22 last year with no new cases. 

There were zero previously announced cases resolved, according to a health unit release on Thursday, leaving the district with one active case. The last time there were zero active cases was Nov. 5. 

Meanwhile, the Northwestern Health Unit also reported no new cases, and no existing active cases in its catchment area.
