THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reported no new confirmed COVID-19 cases Thursday, with the active case count again matching a low point for 2021.
With one previously reported case declared resolved, active cases across the district fell to three.
There continued to be no district residents in hospital with the virus.
The TBDHU has reported just five new cases over the past week, with three in the Thunder Bay area and two in district First Nations.
The health unit has reported a total of 3,341 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began. Of those, 3,274 are considered resolved and 3 were active, while the virus was a contributing or underlying factor in 64 deaths.
