THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Transit is dropping mask mandates on city buses on June 11.
In a post to Facebook, Transit officials say as of Saturday the province is ending the requirement to wear masks. However, Transit officials remind the public that it remains a mask-friendly service and asks its users to treat everyone with tolerance, respect and kindness about mask-wearing decisions.
"Whether an individual continues to wear a mask will be a matter of their personal choice based on their own assessment of risk and the local situation."
