New COVID cases in Sioux Lookout, Rainy River areas

Westernmost part of Ontario still faring well, with just 10 active cases.

KENORA, Ont. -- Positive COVID-19 tests have been diagnosed in the Sioux Lookout region and in the District of Rainy River. 

The new cases up the active case count in the region to 10. 

Follow-up with those who have tested positive, as well as their close contacts, is under way. There have been 1,090 cases reported in the NWHU catchment area since the pandemic began.
