THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay's active COVID-19 case count remains at 10 for the second straight day.
On Friday the Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced a single new case, noting that a previously announced case is now considered to be resolved. Since Monday there have been six new cases in the district.
Friday's case is considered to live in Thunder Bay and surrounding area, the first time since Monday a case was ascribed to this particular catchment area.
There were no new cases connected variants of concern.
There have been 3,335 cases in Thunder Bay District since the pandemic began, with 3,261 considered to be resolved and 64 deaths associated with COVID-19.
