One new COVID-19 case

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has announced a new confirmed case of COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the district total to six.

The case involves a Thunder Bay-area resident, with the exposure category as pending.

The health unit has reported a total of 3,351 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began. Of those, 3,281 are considered resolved, while the virus was a contributing or underlying cause of 64 local deaths.
