Holiday Hero nominee: Kiarra Kraft

My daughter who is 14 years old is a holiday hero in my eyes. At her young age she has already been diagnosed with a rare brain disease called Chiari Malformation that has no cure, but was also just diagnosed with Complex regional pain disorder again with no cure after a accident to her wrist leaving her unable to move it fully, or regain full strength. Despite the issues my daughter has went through, she wakes up every day and loves life and wants to give back to the community. This past Summer she spent her entire summer volunteering. She Volunteered at Scholars Education Centre, as well as volunteering for 8 hours a day every day at Roseview Manor retirement home. She continues to focus hard in her studies at School, and still dedicates her weekends to Volunteering when she can at Roseview Manor. Despite being 14 years old, living with this painful conditions, she has not let this stop her and that to me makes her my holiday hero. She is always wanting to help in anyway she can.
